Grace Place is a small, Southern Baptist congregation located about seven miles north east of Lamar Missouri. . We are a rather uncommon congregation and are not program driven as are the majority of SBC churches. We are family driven! We do Sunday school as families and we minister as families. We believe strong, vibrant Christ centered families are the remedy for our troubled society.
Our vision is to see Christian individuals and our corporate fellowship grow up into Biblical, spiritual maturity as set forth in Ephesians chapter four. Where the full stature of Christ Jesus is our goal. We can experience oneness of faith, and the stability of sound doctrine. Everyone can understand their role, and participate with joy under the covering of God's loveWe place great emphasis on the teaching and learning of God's Word.
2 Tim 3:14-17
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

We are a casual, or non-formal bunch, we love to worship the Lord Jesus and we place immense value on prayer.
